RO Archers - Heart-to-Heart

Wow. I'd almost totally forgotten about this work. No wonder it's been six months since my last upload.

I drew this back in around March, when me and my blockmates were still really into Ragnarok Online. The RO passion was reignited by 4 particular people-- one of them, M, who started it all. He was my classmate in English and an RO addict, kept asking people around December to join him in making an online guild for our English section. The only three people who responded positively were me, K, and J (who also played RO obsessively but never told us that he did until M mentioned it). That was where we began. Coincidentally, however, J, K and I (letters. haha) are blockmates, and because 4 is a meager number for a guild we began inviting most of our other friends in our block to join us too.

That started a whole new sense of online friendship. We all shared equipment (I have 4 bows each kindly donated by different people), acted as couriers, helped each other level up, and talked about group reports and projects while bashing Geos and Metalings to a pulp. Our guild had practically all the job classes-- 3 Mages, 1 Merchant, a Taekwon Kid, an Aco, a Novice, a Thief, 2 Swordies, a Ninja, and 3 Archers.

I guess what made me draw the Three Archers (with Hunter, Dancer and Bard being all the first jobs of an Archer), aside from it being cool that the three of us were related in so many ways (this part is hard to explain), is that, truthfully, they mean a lot to me, in more ways than one. I'm not just talking about the characters here.

By the way, yes, the hunter is holding a mouse trap. That's because I HATE Cramps. They killed me and my sister when we sent our characters into the culverts (and because I didn't know hunters used bear traps, fine, I admit it. Tao lang).

This fanart was supposed to be followed by a drawing of two mages shooting a fire and an ice bolt either at each other or at something (one with green braided hair, the other with long spiky brown hair), because Mages seem to be an integral part of my life too... but I became lazy (and because I stink at action poses). Please forgive...

Detailed Progress Report:
In March, I drew this on a sketch book, traced it with tech pen, colored each character on Corel 3, then attempted to draw in Einbroch as a background and failed miserably. That attempt to make a spectacular background was the whole reason for the delay of this post. I could never draw the background I wanted, so I didn't upload. Now, in July, I found the file again, and desperately wanted to put this up, so I supplied my usual rushed background. However, my Corel kind of got busted, so I ended up cleaning up the peopl in MS Paint, hence the white outlines they have. Then I just slapped them on top of a backround I did in Corel. ... It's supposed to resemble Payon (see the grass? ). I know, it's weird. As usual. Sorry there are no shadows.

There are so many stories behind this drawing (both good and bad). I can't tell all of them, but let it suffice for me to say that the 'heart-to-heart' in the title isn't just referring to the three characters talking in the picture.
